Karan is a P&L leader with expertise in post-merger integration of business in a multicultural, multi-national and multi-category environment across developed (USA) and developing (Africa, India) markets in the CPG industry.
He comes with strong experience in business turnaround and growth strategy and has been at the forefront of building an agile organization by leveraging an insurgent mindset to focus on organizational restructuring, kickstarting and sustaining a strong innovation rate, data-driven decision making, setting up and expanding a sustainable Amazon business, building channel strategies, and driving operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
Head - Global Sales
Morrishane leads Godrej North America’s direct and indirect sales efforts and business development. She is responsible for driving strategic planning, running global sales operations, and shaping growth initiatives in developed and emerging markets.
Morrishane comes with more than 15 years of experience in leadership positions, and has also been recognised for her achievements in sales in the consumer-packaged goods industry. She specializes in forming strategic alliances and programmes that add value to the customer relationship.
Morrishane has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, with a specialization in marketing.
Head - Marketing & Innovation
Kendria is a product innovator, marketing strategist and team builder who reimagines and restores brands past their potential. After spending 10 years working in marketing and product development for multimillion-dollar textured haircare brands, she knows what makes sell-out launches and how to energize word-of-mouth strategies. She strongly believes in connecting with the heartbeat of consumers and communicating learnings back to them through products and services.
She has been instrumental in conceptualizing and creating African Pride’s new Moisture Miracle and also spearheaded the reformulation, repackaging and relaunch of the legacy’s brand full portfolio.
In 2017, she joined Godrej USA as Marketing Director and Innovation Lead, and in 2020, became Executive Vice President of Marketing and Innovation. During this time, she successfully built out a team consisting of 25 full-time employees and 5 contractors, comprising creative talent, brand and social media managers, professional educators, NPD managers, and administrative support. She has a product innovation and renovation portfolio of 90 products that have rejuvenated leading legacy brands such as African Pride, Just for Me, Dr. Miracle’s, Afro Sheen and Motions. Godrej USA brands have received 15 awards since her leadership from leading organizations like Allure, Naturally Curly, Curlbox, Refinery 21 and many more.
Kendria holds a BS in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, an MBA in Marketing from William Carey University and a PMP certificate education from Florida Atlantic University.
Head - Human Resources
Liana partners with the management to establish and continuously improve work culture and employee experience.
As a business leader and HR professional with over 10 years’ experience, she derives her energy and passion from helping set teams up for success. She believes in working with employees’ strengths and developing employees’ weaknesses to improve the overall organization.
Liana enjoys collaborating with business partners to create and implement people focused strategies throughout the organization. Prior to joining the Godrej team, she managed HR functions in the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
Chief Financial Officer
Georges comes with over 15 years of experience across various finance leadership roles in the consumer goods industry. He started his career as a Finance leadership trainee with Diageo in Cameroon, and went on to work in more than 20 countries with prominent stays in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
At Diageo, he was CFO for West and Central Africa, where he established the Finance function for a cluster of 22 countries; Global Audit and Risk Director, where he led internal audit from Diageo’s headquarters in London; and Manufacturing Finance Director in Nigeria, where he delivered cost savings initiatives and established manufacturing finance processes recognized as the best in Africa.
Georges had a stint in British American Tobacco where he was Marketing Finance Manager and Management Accounting Manager for the Central Africa area.
Georges has two MS degrees, one in Economics and the other in Finance. He has completed a Certificate in Corporate Finance from Columbia Business School and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He is passionate about the sea, loves music, and enjoys cooking spicy food occasionally.
Head - IT
Ankur is a creative and meticulous leader with over 18 years diverse experience across digital transformation, and applications and IT infrastructure. He comes with strong learnings in strategic IT planning, people management, financial management and communication skills, which he employs to align key stakeholders on technology trends in the marketplace, driving a high return on investment. Ankur operates with a strong sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
His core competencies lie in IT strategy, consulting, digital transformation and business application implementation/support (including SAP, Dynamics 365) in the manufacturing and FMCG industries.
Head - Supply Chain & Logistics
Bhaskar is an end-to-end supply chain professional with over 13 years of experience across manufacturing, operations planning, project management, category demand and supply planning, customer service and logistics, exports management and a balanced mix of general management skills.
He has a wide exposure to leading global practices in supply chain management, licensing and compliance for Pharma products and Food & Confectionery manufacturing.
